Apple Tweaks App Store Feedback

If you’ve ever wondered about some of the praise bestowed on applications at Apple’s App Store, wonder no more.

The Cupertino, California, company has quietly made tweaks that make it so that only those who paid to download an application can give feedback. The change is an effort to minimize comments that falsely market applications, either good or bad.

The move is part of an attempt to rid the store of bogus feedback.

Apple’s App Store did $1 million in sales per day in its first month in operation.

Apple shares lost $23.17, or 18 percent, to $105.07 in midday trading after the company got two analyst downgrades.
