LiveAction Secures $36m Funding Round

February 16, 2016

LiveAction, an enterprise IT network visibility software platform, has raised a $36 million Series B round of financing, led by Insight Venture Partners. Accelerate-IT Ventures and Cisco Investments also participated in the funding round. “In 2014, we completed our Series A round, led by AITV and Cisco, and invested those proceeds to build a powerful visibility platform used by many of the biggest companies in energy, finance, retail and healthcare. Closing our Series B financing enables us to globalize LiveAction,” said Darren T. Kimura, CEO and chairman of LiveAction. “Insight Venture Partners have helped build successful infrastructure software companies including SolarWinds, Veeam, and Quest Software, and we are looking forward to accelerating our growth via this partnership.”

Biomedical data analysis company Seven Bridges has raised $45 million in Series A funding led by Kryssen Capital. “Genomic data projects are driving unprecedented progress in the area of precision medicine, including initiatives like the cancer moonshot, which President Obama highlighted in his final State of the Union address,” said James Sietstra, President of Seven Bridges. “Seven Bridges was founded to accelerate breakthroughs in genomics research, and this round of funding will help us continue to support users at the U.S. National Cancer Institute, the National Institutes of Health, Genomics England and our pharmaceutical partners who are part of the worldwide effort to understand and treat cancer.”

Revenue optimization company LodgIQ has secured $5 million in seed funding led by Highgate Ventures and Trilantic Capital Partners. “The revenue optimization user community in travel has become increasingly sophisticated over the past decade, and yet we have not seen the non-linear advances in technology that other industries have experienced,” said Ravneet Bhandari, CEO of LodgIQ™.  Bhandari, who brings over 20 years of domain expertise in leadership and advisory roles with top industry flags including Hyatt, Caesars Entertainment and Starwood Capital commented further: “Big data isn’t a buzzword – it’s a given. LodgIQ RM™ makes it instantly actionable through cognitive machine learning in an easy, intelligent and highly effective platform.”
