Domino's Pizza

TiVo announced on Monday that it is teaming up with the Domino's pizza chain by offering subscribers a real TV dinner. For the first time it will be possible to scroll down the 'menu' bar and literally select any type of pizza, crust, sauce and topping.
Customers will be able to have their order picked up, or delivered and can track their order and their account—but not their calories—online at Dominos.com
Pizza lovers may be able to fast forward through the Domino's TV commercials, but the company is banking on that they will find it hard to resist the tempting on-demand offer. Customers simply select the desired cheesy comestible, click "I want it" enter a delivery address and hey pesto, just 30 minutes later, the pizza arrives and the cash exchange takes place. Getting up to open the door will still have to be done manually, for now.
No doubt other on-demand deliverables will follow suit and pretty soon, just as with the internet, you'll be able to order a plethora of services through your TV remote without having to leave the house, maybe even a personal trainer?
Couch potatoes dream—or a dieters nightmare, depending on your perspective—but pizza lovers everywhere should be out celebrating the news in the streets, but they probably decided to stay in and order some pizza instead.
The Tivo service is said to begin this week, just in time for the game on Sunday. Isn't technology amazing?
