If the identity of the posting is authentic, Aaron Sorkin, the creator of the NBC hit West Wing has announced a plan to make a movie about Harvard drop-out and Facebook founder Mark Zukerberg and his buddies Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes.
Zukerberg is one of the Valley's low key tech execs, but the planned movie will no doubt propel him to the realm of super stardom usually occupied by the likes of Bill Gates or Steve Jobs.
Sorkin's Facebook posting asked readers for story ideas. No word yet on who would play the 24 year-old Zukerberg, or if the story would depict the other Harvard social networking group ConnectU who are currently in a lawsuit claiming that Zukerberg and company had stolen their social network idea.
From a geeky appearance standpoint, I think Jon Heder of Napoleon Dynamite and Blades of Glory fame should get the lead role, now that would be a movie worth seeing.
