Rolling Stones Debut 'Shine A Light' On imeem

"Shine A Light," the much-anticipated soundtrack to Martin Scorsese’s new documentary about The Rolling Stones, is making its U.S. debut March 26 on imeem one week before it’s available in stores on April 1 (Interscope Records).

"Shine a Light," which opens in theaters nationally on April 4, is a look at The Rolling Stones’s live performances through the eyes of Martin Scorsese. The Oscar-winning director captured the band during two intimate performances at New York's Beacon Theatre in the fall of 2006. During the performances, the Stones were joined onstage by several special guests, including Buddy Guy, the White Stripes' Jack White, and Christina Aguilera.

imeem users can enjoy the 22-song deluxe version of the soundtrack starting today. The deluxe version includes every track from the film, plus four bonus tracks that were not included in the film--"Paint It Black," "Little T&A", "Shine A Light," and "I'm Free."

This is the another example of mainstream bands choosing social media outlets like imeem as the places to reach their fans with their new music.
