Yahoo on Thursday said it has found a replacement for its chief financial officer.
Sunnyvale, California-based Yahoo said that its board has appointed Tim Morse to succeed CFO Blake Jorgensen, whose departure announcement came in February. The move comes as part of an executive shakeup from incoming CEO Carol Bartz.
"Tim has a proven ability to translate strategy into structure, process, and execution, and I am delighted that he will be joining my leadership team to help drive Yahoo!'s growth," Ms. Bartz said in a statement.
Mr. Morse, who starts at Yahoo July 1, comes from chip company Altera, where he served as CFO. Before that he was CFO at General Electric Plastics.
