Herring 100 North America. The Red
Herring 100 is a mark of distinction and prestige. Only 200 companies are
selected as finalists from a pool of hundreds. The 100 Winners were announced
at the award ceremony on June 24 at its annual Red Herring 100 North America
Forum.

Herring’s Top 100 North America list is recognized for
identifying promising new companies and entrepreneurs. Red Herring editors were
among the first to recognize that companies such as Facebook, Hotmail, Twitter, Google,
Yahoo, Skype, Salesforce.com, YouTube, and eBay would change the way we live
and work.
